The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center is located in South Carolina’s historic state capital and is in the middle of an exciting urban scene that includes open-air cafes, deluxe accommodations, live music, exciting sports venues, and concert tours. It is minutes away from a major airport and interstates, and hosts dozens of events and conventions throughout the year. The property wants signage that included a detailed map and listing of events, and also information that a typical guest and/or convention-goer may want during a visit to the city. “At the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, our JANUS displays have enhanced the attendee experience. The interactive displays provide wayfinding around the venue, and also a “Things To Do” tab, a “Within Walking Distance Tab,” and a “Restaurants” tab. Our attendees love being able to easily access and then print this information directly from the pedestal display. Also, JANUS creates beautiful customized templates.”

The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is a complex made up of a hotel and a casino. After developing signage for the hotel part of the complex, we were asked to develop signage to help visitors and guests learn how to get to the casino and the events and meeting space(s), as well as about daily, weekly, and monthly specials and events. “We approached JANUS Displays to create the wayfinding signs for our resort. The JANUS team was extremely helpful in creating our maps. Every time a change needed to be made, they got the revisions back to us promptly. They worked hard to make sure we got the results we wanted. We have promotions that change monthly, with corresponding artwork. Even after we had sent our last revision, we needed to change the artwork… [the JANUS team was] very quick in getting the outdated [content] off and the new artwork up. The end results look fantastic, and our customers find the signage very helpful in navigating the resort. Overall, working with JANUS Displays was beneficial to the company, and I would recommend them to others.”

Black Fox Lodge is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The property mainly wanted its signage to provide menu information, but was pleased to learn that its signage could do a lot more, such as provide information about events and on-site amenities. While creating the property’s content, our team rebuilt the property’s logo and also created an animation that has fox paw prints appearing and disappearing across the content that plays at the property. Our content team aims to put the “fun” into “functional,” as we believe digital signage is art. “Everything has been great. The [JANUS] team has been very available and moved things along quickly.”

Tropicana Las Vegas has a mix of external and internal digital signage from JANUS Displays. Signage directs guests and visitors to specific events taking place in the hotel. The Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel has had a JANUS Displays solution on site for 20 years. The property isn’t able to upgrade its solution currently, but when it stopped fully functioning, didn’t want to regress to the days of printing and posting events schedules. “Since the doors opened in 2003, we have been utilizing JANUS Displays by Morrow Technologies. Over the past ten years, we have seen the hotel’s business grow and the needs change.
